How do home-based travel agencies work?

i'm currently working full time but would like to explore the possibility of having a home-based travel business.

Below are some links on travel that maybe helpful.

The home based travel businesses that you're seeing are probably the MLM ones. Depending on the travel business you're in, you'll have a site that people book travel through or you'll be selling travel packages. Since they're MLM's, you'll also be able to sell people their own "travel agency" as well. I found this review of the 2 biggest travel agency home businesses:

I hope this helps!

I love to travel. About 18 months ago, in addition to my full time job, I started as an independent agent working for a host. I work under the umbrella of a very small company who has been in business for 28 years, but I think in the long run, I will go over to Nexion, as my host. I need more...

Now to all the seasoned Home Base Agents, please, give any and all advice you see fit.

What training do you suggest????

Eventually I would like to be a destination specialist and do it all full time. I have had it with the office life.

Thanks
