Can I get milage reembursement for required travel to work sites as a security guard?

I am considered a flex officer for a security firm and I'm required to travel as much as 500 miles a week to several sites a week. Can I claim milage expenses at the federal rate from my yearly taxes if I can prove all travel?

You can only claim it if you work at more then one site a day, you can claim the distance between the sites. To the first one and home from the last one are not claimable as they are simply commuting to and from work.

You can claim mileage expense if you work more than one location in a day even if it is for the same employer, but only if you are able to itemize your deductions and the amount is limited to 2% of your adjusted gross income.
