Im trying to pick a major for college, and i wanna work with people but i also wanna travel?

I need help to find out what profession to go into! Right now i work taking care of the mentally handicapped and i like this job, but its not for me as a career!

How about a travel rep? Get to travel the worls, stay in various resorts/hotels and show people around the areas and guide them on their holidays.

Travel nurse. They choose and pick when and where to go. Pay is superb like any other nursing position.

Journalist. Particularly travel journalist. You meet a lot of people. Pay likely stinks until you've become quite established.

Sales. Big corporate sales that is. Not a job for everyone. Can be financially rewarding if you have what it takes.

if you are happy serving and helping other people, take a career on humanities and social works.

Take ROTC while in college. Once you graduate, you're guaranteed a job with plenty of opportunity to work with a wide variety of people and to travel extensively. I suggest NROTC or AFROTC.

Well Medical Sonography (ultrasound) is a great choice. You get the benefit of helping people, plus there are many traveling tech agencies that can send you all over the world, wherever you were needed. Many agencies pay to have your belongings moved and if you choose, you could avoid moving things back and forth and they would provide you with a furnished apartment wherever they sent you. It's a pretty great deal! Good luck!

If you don't mind working long and/or add hours, go into the hospitality industry. You might work on a cruise ship and sail around some of the most desirable destinations in the world; or, you might get a job with a large hotel chain and travel around to visit them.

Many colleges offer degrees in hotel management, etc.
