I want to travel from the US to Surabaya, Indonesia. How do i obtain a work visa?

I want to be able to stay for a couple of years. Please give me options for both with and without using a travel agent.

first.. you have to go to US embassy in Jakarta, i guess you can get visa there, or at least you can get information about the procedure there
