Would you work for a Foundation which put people first, without pay, but plenty of free travel?

See for yourself once it is all set up and ready to go.

The tropical island is famous for its friendly people.

You would visit at least once each year the estate, and live well, yet see first hand all the wonderful work being doing right there.

Too good to be true?

No, not really, but the only thing from it going ahead now is the lack of trustworthy people who aren't in it for the benefits.

why not?

Service to humanity is the greatest service to mankind.

Rotary 4 way test says it all.

1. is it the truth

2. is it fair to all concerned

3. will it build goodwill and better friendship

4. will it be beneficial to all concerned

my daughter has sworn that one day she will be rich and will set up a programme to become a social landlord to people in need (esp one parent families), however in order to keep it running she would at times need to ask for help, hopefully she would make her request with the fullest possible details via normal post to local authorities, and perhaps to the public. Sad to say your garbled and vague premise here has me doubtful. and possibly has other people feeling the same way.

I will never ever set foot in an airplane again for the rest of my life, so offering travel isn't an effective way to catch my interest in a job.

A job like that would attract a lot of kids in their mid-twenties, who are longing for travel, and have no children, so they won't care about insurance or having a stationary residence or even if they happened to be killed in a plane crash. Good job for a kid, but not for anyone with children/responsibilities.

You fail to describe what the "work" is. Does it simply mean that people travel to a beautiful island once or more per year, look at other people working, and then fly home? What you've described is a free vacation, yet you state that you can't find trustworthy people who aren't in it just for the benefits. Since all you're describing are the "benefits", what else can you expect?

maybe if single but aint so me kids etc come first

yes i would go, perhaps aim for people who have just done their A levels maybe, like me i am dying to go traveling.
