What is the best way for me to not work but travel the world?

I want to travel the world full-time, but I'm not exactly sure how to go about doing it. I'm a writer, so that might be an option, but isn't it tough to get into travel writing?

You could check into travel writing, also a food critique or something similar. The best way though is to learn to invest money properly and play the stock market. If you invest wisely it can be your full time jobs (even if you only work on it a few hours a week). Then with the money you make, travel the world.

Doing this, you could also earn more money from your travels. Take photographs, review destinations, hotels, etc. and then sell them to magazines, as stock, etc. This would help bring in some more income. Also, you could look into starting your own travel review website. You travel the world, take a laptop with you and review the places you go as you go. Then, write up reviews of your opinions and publish it on the web. Once your site becomes credible you can get people to advertise, get affiliate programs on there, etc. and you could earn money that way... I know, I know, it's a hard job, but somebody has to do it ;-)

Hope this helps, good luck with your search!

Travel writing is very hard to get into. You might want to save up money for a while, and then travel the world using your savings.

Well, technically it's work... but you could go to the Peace Corps

Depending on your age, consider joining the Air Force. Out of all the forces, it tends to be the "gentlest" for the most part. There are so many differnt career fields, you can surely find one that suits your talents, such as PR. The best part is, they pay you to live in some fabulous places. I'm in Germany right now, living in a house 3 times bigger than what I could afford before. There are also bases in Hawaii, Guam, the Azores (islands off of Portugal), England, and Japan. There are also special duty assignments all around the world. I had friends just get here from Paris.

Well you could sell your house and live in a hotel in every city. then when you get rich on your awsome novels you could have small homes in all of your favorite cities!!

Hope it works out travel writer!!
