How does ticketless travel work for US Airways?

I am flying out of Detroit to Phoenix and then to Las Vegas. I have not flewn in a long time and am nervous about the ticketless travel?

It's actually a lot easier. You no longer have to worry about losing your paper tickets.

All you do is show up at the check-in counter with a government-issued ID (driver's license is sufficient since you're only flying nationally).

It can't hurt to bring along a printout of your itinerary, mostly so you have the confirmation number/ booking code, but an ID really is all you need.
